JAVA SUITE

Built in a jogglo layout, which is a very old Javanese structure, the Java Suite takes guests to the heart of the authentic Java. The decoration is composed of Javanese objects from the bed head made of an ancient Javanese fence to both of the bed side lamps made of the traditional entrance decoration of villages.

BORNEO SUITE

Unique and mysterious, the two lions facing the bed dominate the room and create a wild atmosphere. They are made of wood and are considered as temple guardians. The Borneo Suite is decorated with artifacts representing Borneo’s every day life, culture and traditions. The bed head is made of tree trunks imported from the island.

POOL & GARDENS

The resort size infinity edge swimming pool between the front of the Villa and its private beachfront is surrounded by two large 30m x 6m decks making it the perfect place for memorable wedding receptions and functions. Several sun lounges with umbrellas are positioned around the swimming pool in addition to a full size bale for you to indulge in a massage or spa treatment, or just to laze around. Superior quality outdoor sofas are scattered across the 70 meter long deck frontage spanning from one end of the Villa to the other for those time when you want relax and admire the view of the swimming pool, ocean and gardens. Sunset drink served by our friendly staff are best enjoyed from the large gazebo situated on the waters edge with views over a stunning small temple bearing a strong resemblance to the word famous Tanah Lot temple.

Knowing that the kids can run around happily, independently and safely, without you having to worry about other guests, is a real plus – and one that means parents are certain to have a more relaxed holiday too. Babysitting services can easily be arranged, giving you plenty of flexibility and freedom to do your own exploring beyond the villa grounds.

Our two chefs will happily customize all meals to suit children’s taste, just talk through your requirements and meal schedules with the villa manager or chefs and they will take care of the rest. Poolside Banana Pancakes for breakfast? Spaghetti Bolognese for lunch? No problem. Our friendly cooks can customize all meals to suit children’s taste buds. Don’t worry about packing all that cumbersome kids’ equipment for your stay at Villa Mokenbo. Just let us know what you need, and anything we don’t have in-house we can hire on your behalf.

DINING

At Villa Mokenbo guests can enjoy delicious home-cooked food whenever and wherever they want. Delicious breakfasts are served daily and lunch and dinner can be selected from our extensive menu featuring Balinese, Western and Japanese cuisine. Our two chefs prepare all meals, with extensive experience at some of Bali’s most renowned restaurants. The chefs can prepare everything from snacks and picnics to gourmet dinner for up to 14 guests according to the wishes and whims of the guests. Guests may glance through a suggestion menu to whet their appetite.

We recommend that guests meet with the chef at the start of their stay to chat about menus and preferred food. The chefs will be happy to cook menus regarding guest’s preferences and wishes. To allow adequate time for provisioning meals need to be agreeing in advance (ideally 48 hours).

SPA

We provide authentic Balinese massage services with masseurs who have learnt the traditional techniques, which has been used for generations.
