You know you are in Bali when you stay at Villa Warna Warni. This two bedroom air-conditioned villa is enchanting with white washed wood contrasting well the tropical green foliage. The use of Balinese art pieces adds to that cultural feel.
With its own entrance, a special feature with Villa Warna Warni is that you if you come in a larger group, you can have the adjoining Villa Putih, if you requiring more space or privacy.
Situated in Jalan Plawa Seminyak, you are in close proximity to Bintang supermarket, many quality restaurants such as SIP, Queens Tandoor, money changers such as BMC, fashion outlets such as Betty Bu, Biasa and a few more minutes walk or a ride to the Legian beachfront.
The minute you enter Villa Warna Warni you know you are in a home away from home. A small water feature with pond, grassed area and tropical foliage greet you and as you walk a little further the contrasting turquoise waters of the pool contrast with the white and wood colors of the building.
The living space is one large, open area surrounded by burgundy colored, tie back curtains adding to that tropical feel. Subdued lighting around the top of the ceiling adds to the ambience and ceiling fans above keep the place cooler.
In one corner is the white washed kitchen with sink and cooktop, cupboards, fridge and water dispenser. Within the cupboards and drawers are cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils to meet the needs of guests.
A rectangular dining table and four chairs in white washed wood face the kitchen area and overlook the pool. A small console on a nearby wall with Balinese wooden carving above it adds to that cultural character of the villa.
Beside the dining table is a rattan sofa with chaise longue in a latte color to lounge on, read your book or to watch that favourite DVD or game. A footstool and coffee table are also nearby to place things on when required. Opposite the sofa is a TV cabinet with TV and DVD.
In the opposite corner, a set of three grey vases cascading down in size, a wooden white washed console with Balinese artifact upon and above on the wall, a beautiful colorful painting of Buddha faces.
One bedroom leads off the living area and the other is directly bedside it, but leads off the pool area. Between the rooms is a toilet for outside use.
Each bedroom is alike with air conditioning and has a romantic, white washed four-poster bed with sheer white curtains tied back against each post, as the centre piece of the room. There is a small wardrobe sufficient to hang and fold clothes and two bedside tables with lamps upon within the room. A colorful bamboo painting rests against one wall, near one side of the bed. In the corner besides the wardrobe is a small dressing table and mirror with stool and on the opposite side a TV cabinet with TV resting above. The exotic orange and gold curtains and matching cushion on the bed adds color to the room.
The bathrooms again are alike with tropical foliage to add color, an open shower area, toilet, vanity and basin.
The pool with its glistening turquoise waters is a treat to enjoy. A bale sits high above grey pebbles at one end of the pool and overlooks the tropical garden. Rattan sun lounges and two rattan chairs overlook the pool and are great to get that suntan or lie comfortably to read your book.
Villa Warna Warni has all that will make your holiday in Bali great. A terrific location, comfortable beds to sleep upon, a pool to swim in and privacy and security. Don’t hesitate to book into this villa to enjoy your time on ‘the island of the gods.’
